In 2010, the duo Eli Joory (composer) and Maria Teresa Madeira (pianist) released their first album, “Tomara que Chova”, under the Delira Música label. Featuring nine tracks, the record brings together compositions created over years of collaboration, which began in 2006, blending Maria Teresa’s classical background with Eli Joory’s rich palette of Brazilian rhythms. The result is a work without boundaries between classical and popular music, representing Brazilian music with authenticity. As a bonus track, the album includes all the sheet music.
